Hello, and welcome! I hope that you find this website useful and informative in the topic areas of Information Theory, Data Compression, general Signal Processing, and Compressed Sensing. I seek to publish thoughtful articles and essays discussing what I view as the more interesting topics and concerns in these fields.
Now, a little bit about my background. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors in 2007 with a BS in Computer Engineering from Mississippi State University, focusing mainly in VLSI design processes (though, I did a lot of Java and embedded system programming for our senior design project: WiRAD). I am now pursuing my PhD at MSU in Signal Processing and Information Thoery under Dr. James Fowler. Our group is currently investigating engineering oriented solutions to reconstruction feasibility problems for Compressed Sensing.
My hobbies include cycling, cooking, cigars, playing the guitar, and elaborating on the Christian worldview. Also, my Myers-Briggs type is INTP, for those who are interested in that sort of thing.
